Lagos Continental Hotel Launches Training Academy and Dormitory

Lagos Continental Hotel inaugurated a new training academy and staff dormitory located a few meters from the main hotel on Kofo Abayomi Street, Victoria Island, Lagos. General Manager Christoph Schleiss described the new training academy as a game changer for the hotel, emphasizing the importance of investing in human resources for company success.

The training academy spans 140 square meters and includes two large training rooms, accommodating around 80 seats in the main area and a smaller boardroom for leadership training. The hotel has already certified three IT staff through the Nigerian Institute of Training and Development and plans to engage specialized trainers.

The dormitory, which has 28 beds, is designed to provide a secure living environment for staff. Director of Human Resources Niyi Agoro noted that the academy represents a significant investment in human capital development, aiming to nurture a highly skilled workforce capable of delivering exceptional hospitality standards in Nigeria.
