Lagos Government to Divert Traffic for 8-Month Lekki-Ajah Road Rehabilitation

The Lagos State Government has revealed plans to divert traffic on the Lekki-Ajah corridor for an 8-month road rehabilitation project. The project, announced by Oluwaseun Osiyemi of the Lagos State Commission of Transport, is set to commence on November 15, 2025, and end on July 15, 2026.

The rehabilitation will be carried out in two phases to minimize traffic disruptions, with the first phase starting from Lekki 1st toll gate to Lekki 2nd toll gate, and the second phase from Lekki 2nd toll gate to the Ajah underbridge. Commuters are urged to follow traffic directives during this period to ensure a smooth flow of traffic.
