Lagos State Launches Rural Health Scheme to Benefit 5,000 Residents

The Lagos State Health Management Agency (LASHMA) initiated a rural health scheme in Agboyi Ori Omi community, aiming to provide quality healthcare services to 5,000 residents. Dr.

Emmanuella Zamba, the Permanent Secretary of LASHMA, highlighted the significance of the scheme in bridging healthcare access gaps in hard-to-reach areas without primary health centers. The project will deploy mobile clinics equipped with basic healthcare services to five communities across three senatorial districts in Lagos.

Governor Sanwo-Olu approved free healthcare services for patients referred to designated healthcare facilities.
