Lagos Lawmaker Foluke Osafile Defects from Labour Party to ADC for Better Service Delivery

Lagos State House of Assembly member, Foluke Osafile representing Amuwo Odofin Constituency, has officially left the Labour Party for the African Democratic Congress (ADC). Osafile cited the need to enhance her service delivery to her constituents and contribute to good governance in Lagos State as reasons for her defection.

She expressed her commitment to working with ADC leaders to strengthen democratic institutions and ensure the voices of ordinary Nigerians are heard. Osafile assured her constituents of her loyalty and dedication to their welfare.

Her defection is expected to be formally announced during a plenary session. Osafile initially won her seat in 2019 on the Labour Party platform and is now set to continue her legislative duties under the ADC banner following a legal contest.
