Epe LG Chairman Pledges Enhanced Security Measures

Princess Surah Animashaun, the Chairman of Epe Local Government Area in Lagos State, made a commitment to protect lives and property while boosting security support for residents. During a comprehensive security stakeholders meeting held at the council secretariat in Epe, she stated that her administration would not relent in its efforts to provide adequate security.

Animashaun emphasized that security remains a top priority and reiterated the need for collaboration among security agencies, traditional rulers, community leaders, religious leaders, market representatives, and youth leaders to tackle emerging security challenges. She expressed optimism that ongoing operations would resolve current security issues affecting the country.

The meeting included representatives from various security organizations, including the Nigeria Police Force, Nigerian Army, Nigerian Immigration Service, Marine Police, Nigeria Security Civil Defence Corps, Federal Road Safety Corps, and Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps. Animashaun also highlighted landmark interventions by her administration to support security operations, including the provision of patrol vehicles and motorcycles for tactical squads.
