Lagos PDP Affirms Loyalty to Kabiru Turaki-Led NWC Amidst Court Nullification Rumors

The Lagos State chapter of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) has pledged allegiance to the leadership of Kabiru Turaki within the party's National Working Committee (NWC). The newly elected executive committee of the Lagos PDP declared its loyalty to Turaki, emphasizing alignment with the NWC's vision to rebuild the party.

The statement, signed by the Lagos State PDP Public Secretary, Dr. Christoph Odianarewo, refuted claims of a court nullifying the 2025 national election convention held in Ibadan.

Odianarewo stressed the party's commitment to discipline, strategy, and rebuilding under the NWC's leadership. The Lagos PDP leadership aims to focus on grassroots mobilization, internal democracy, and opposition strength, following Turaki's roadmap.

The party urged members to remain steadfast amidst attempts to destabilize and create instability. The PDP leadership in Lagos emphasized that the mandate to align with Turaki's leadership is non-negotiable, dismissing distractions and internal disagreements.
