Lagos Seals 10 Businesses for Environmental Violations

On July 1, 2026, the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) sealed 10 businesses across Lagos for repeated violations of environmental regulations, including noise pollution and the unlawful discharge of untreated effluent into public drains. The enforcement action followed several warnings and abatement notices issued to the businesses, which failed to comply with LASEPA's directives.

The affected establishments include Granduer Meridian in Ipaja, Lasola Spazio Bar in Ipaja, Millennium Restaurant in Ayobo, O2 Exquisite in Suit Tower Akowonjo, Chirozz Hotel in Suit Egbeda, and several hotels in Egbeda and Akeasan. Dr.
