Lagos State University Graduate Oreoluwa Adeniran Shines

Oreoluwa Adeniran, an Accounting graduate from Lagos State University (LASU), celebrated his convocation in September 2026 after completing his degree with a first-class honor and a CGPA of 4.78, placing him second among all graduating students in the Department of Accounting. In a LinkedIn post, Adeniran reflected on his university journey, which he described as filled with challenges, growth, and lasting friendships.

His achievements during his undergraduate years include being named an ICAN prize winner, winning the South-west regional Taxation Challenge in the Value Added Tax category, and finishing second overall with his team in the same competition. He also won the ACCESS 6.0 Inter School Quiz Competition and holds the Associate Accountant Technician qualification.

Adeniran expressed gratitude to his lecturers and friends for their support throughout his studies and looks forward to connecting with professionals and mentors as he begins his career in accounting.
