LASU Resolves Graduation Issues for English Students

Lagos State University (LASU) announced that all outstanding results for graduating students in the Department of English have been uploaded as of Sunday, 23 August 2026. This statement followed an inquiry into allegations that some students faced delayed graduation due to unuploaded results.

LASU assured that no qualified student would need to spend an additional year because of this issue, confirming that all students who have fulfilled graduation requirements will graduate with their peers in the 2025/2026 academic session. The university clarified that students whose results remain outstanding have not yet met the necessary graduation requirements.

The situation arose from social media allegations that over 100 students could miss the last convocation due to these unuploaded results, a claim amplified by an X user, @TheAjakeManger. LASU acknowledged the complaint and expressed its commitment to ensuring timely graduation for all students who have satisfied their requirements.
