Lagos State University Graduate Overcomes 3-Year Break

Olubanke Moronfolu, a graduate from Lagos State University, shared her inspiring journey of overcoming a three-year absence from formal education to graduate with First Class Honours. Her educational journey began after Secondary School Year One, during which she was out of school for nearly three years.

Upon returning, she prepared for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), scoring 283, which led to her admission into Lagos State University. Moronfolu faced additional challenges by pursuing professional accounting qualifications, completing both the AAT and ACA certifications while managing her undergraduate studies.

She emphasized that her achievement was a collective victory, crediting God, her parents, lecturers, friends, and family for their unwavering support. Moronfolu's story resonates with many young Nigerians who feel pressured to follow a conventional educational path, serving as a reminder that unconventional routes can lead to exceptional outcomes.
