UNILAG Graduate Achieves Fully Funded Harvard PhD

Dr Ifeosa Anwulika, a first-class graduate from the University of Lagos (UNILAG), has successfully completed a fully funded PhD at Harvard University. This achievement fulfills a promise she made to herself nearly two decades ago while in secondary school.

Initially, she struggled with self-doubt during her early years in secondary school but transformed her academic approach after a pivotal personal decision. By the time she was 22, during her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Ekiti State, she decided to apply for a PhD at Harvard instead of pursuing a master's degree at the University of Ibadan, influenced by conversations with professors and peers.

This decision marked a significant turning point in her academic journey, leading her to realize her long-held dream of studying at Harvard.
