Lai Mohammed to Engage in UK Academic Activities

Lai Mohammed, the former Minister of Information and Culture, is scheduled to visit the United Kingdom for a series of academic engagements from April 22 to April 24, 2023. His first stop will be at the University of Cambridge, where he will interact with the academic community across multiple institutions.

The visit will begin at Abbe College, hosted by Principal Ellen Hess, followed by a stop at Eko Kitchen restaurant for further interactions. Mohammed will also visit Cambridge Seminar College, co-hosted by Ali Kurambayev and C.

Davidson, and engage with scholars and members of the Cambridge University Nigeria Society from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. On April 24, he is scheduled to speak at an event organized by the London School of Economics (LSE) as part of the LSE Programme on African Leadership.

During this tour, he will discuss his new book, "Sound Bite: Media Moment," which aims to address misconceptions and provide a firsthand account of the administration of Muhammadu Buhari, Nigeria's longest-serving Minister of Information and Culture.
