Lalong Transfers APC Leadership to Gov. Mutfwang

Simon Lalong, the former governor of Plateau State and current senator representing Plateau South in the National Assembly, announced that he has handed over the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to his successor, Gov. Mutfwang.

Lalong stated that this decision was made to foster peace, unity, and stability within the party at the state level. He disclosed this information during a conversation with selected journalists on Wednesday.

Lalong also mentioned that he plans to re-contest for a second term in the Senate and has shortly collected his nomination form. He emphasized that Mutfwang's defection to the APC does not hinder his leadership position within the party.
