Lagos State Government to Begin Ozumba Mbadiwe Road Rehab

The Lagos State Government will commence rehabilitation of Ozumba Mbadiwe Road on October 19, as announced by the Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, Mr Oluwaseun Osiyemi. The project will last for 35 days and will cover the section from Adetokunbo Ademola/Civic Centre to Samuel Manuwa/BJ.
To facilitate traffic flow during the repairs, several alternative routes have been established. A contra flow will be set up on the Lagos-bound side from Samuel Manuwa to Adetokunbo Ademola/Civic Centre.
Motorists from Bonny Camp/Falomo heading to Civic Centre/Lekki are advised to use Adeyemo Alakija Street, linking Adeola Hopewell, Akinbo Savage, and Bishop Aboyade Cole. Additional routes are provided for motorists from various locations, including Eko Hotel and Falomo.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority will be deployed to manage vehicle movement and minimize congestion. Motorists are urged to plan their journeys and cooperate with traffic officials.
