Oyebamiji Claims 16 Years of Experience for Osun Governance

Bola Oyebamiji, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the upcoming Osun State governorship election, asserted that his last 16 years have equipped him with the necessary experience to govern effectively. Speaking at the palace of Oba Adesuyi Hastrup in Ilesa, Oyebamiji highlighted his tenure as Managing Director of the Osun State Investment Company Limited and his role as State Commissioner for Finance.

He noted a significant reduction in boat mishaps during his time at the National Inland Waterways Authority, where he initiated a committee to investigate the causes of capsizing. Oyebamiji expressed pride in revitalizing OSICOL, acquiring properties in Guzape, Abuja, and Ikoyi, Lagos.

He promised to complete the water project initiated by Rauf Aregbesola's administration if elected. Oba Hastrup requested Oyebamiji's support for establishing more universities in the region.

The campaign event took place on Thursday, and Oyebamiji emphasized a citizen-focused budget if elected.
