34 Governorship Aspirants Pay ₦50 Million for APC Forms

In a significant political development, thirty-four governorship aspirants have paid ₦50 million each to acquire forms from the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja. The sale of these forms, which is part of the party's preparations for upcoming elections, was closely monitored by the APC National Chairman, Prof. Nentaw Yilwatda.

He expressed satisfaction with the turnout and the overall process. The sale of forms has reportedly generated millions of naira for the party.

Although the exact number of forms purchased has not been officially released, sources indicate that approximately 200 aspirants have also picked forms for the House of Representatives and Senate. Notably, two individuals, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Edo-born businessman Stanlei Osifo, have picked presidential forms, which cost ₦100 million each.

The sale process was extended due to a public holiday, and many aspirants arrived with large groups of supporters, highlighting the competitive nature of the upcoming elections.
