The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) successfully rescued a truck driver trapped in his vehicle after a container overturned due to brake failure on Shagamu Road near LASPOTECH in Ikorodu. The incident occurred on a Sunday, with LASTMA's rescue and recovery team swiftly stabilizing the vehicle to ensure the driver's safety and clear the traffic congestion.

The agency mobilized a high-capacity recovery truck to lift the container off the road, allowing traffic to resume. Motorists were advised to follow diversions and exercise caution.
