LASTMA Launches Toll-Free Hotline for Traffic Emergencies

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has introduced a new toll-free hotline, 3367, aimed at enhancing emergency response and improving traffic management across Lagos State. This initiative marks a significant advancement in the agency's commitment to protecting lives and ensuring seamless vehicular movement.

The hotline is accessible at no charge to subscribers of MTN, Etisalat, T2, and Glo networks, allowing millions of residents to report traffic-related emergencies without incurring costs. The platform is designed to promptly notify LASTMA of incidents such as vehicular breakdowns, road traffic crashes, and disabled vehicles obstructing traffic.

Mr. Olalekan Bakar Oki described the hotline's introduction as a major milestone in the agency's efforts to leverage technology for effective traffic management.

The service will operate in English, Yoruba, and Pidgin English to eliminate language barriers and encourage wider public participation in traffic administration.
