Remi Oseni Launches Food Bank and Welfare Scheme in Oyo

Remi Oseni, a member of the House of Representatives representing Ibarapa East in Oyo State under the Progress Congress, distributed food items and launched a welfare scheme aimed at supporting vulnerable groups, including elderly women and widows. The distribution took place during the inauguration of the "Remi Asoludero Food Bank" at Asoludaro Market in Ibadan, Ido Local Government Area.

Oseni emphasized that the initiative, founded 15 years ago, is committed to improving lives and aligns with President Bola Tinubu's economic rebirth agenda. The program aims to provide a wide range of food items at subsidized rates and free food to those in need, including single mothers and individuals facing physical challenges.

Oseni's foundation focuses on ensuring that no vulnerable community member goes to bed hungry, highlighting that the initiative is non-political and non-religious. He called for support from individuals and organizations to build a society that prioritizes dignity and sustenance for all.
