Oyetola Distributes Food to 5,000 Households in Osun

Adegboyega Oyetola, the former Governor of Osun State, launched a food distribution initiative named the Ilerioluwa Development Initiative, aimed at alleviating economic challenges during Ramadan. The initiative provided food items to 5,000 households across 10 local government areas in Osun State.

The distribution took place at the Tinubu/Shettima campaign office in Ogo Oluwa, Osogbo, and specifically targeted vulnerable groups, including the elderly and widows. Femi Oyetola, Oyetola's son, represented the initiative, which is part of ongoing efforts to support the community, including similar distributions during Christmas and New Year celebrations.

The food packages included essential items such as rice, garri, beans, milk, and various beverages. Kudirat Fakokund, the Osun State APC women leader, addressed beneficiaries, highlighting the current government's neglect of welfare for vulnerable members, particularly widows, and encouraged recipients to share items with others in need, reinforcing the spirit of generosity during Ramadan.
