ADC Responds to Defections, Calls Members "Idol Worshippers"

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) addressed the recent defections of some members, with Rivers State Chairman Dr. Chukwudi Dimkpa stating that those who left the party are "idol worshippers." In a telephone interview, Dimkpa asserted that despite the defections, the ADC remains a strong and united party in Rivers State, firmly established across all 23 local government areas.

He emphasized that the party's strength does not rely on individual members but on its structural integrity and the values it represents. Dimkpa highlighted the ADC's commitment to deepening grassroots mobilization and strengthening its structure at the ward and local government levels, indicating that the current situation allows the party to enhance its service delivery and inclusivity.
