LBHF Plans Grand Governor’s Belt Finale on Boxing Day at Teslim Balogun Stadium

The Lagos Box Hall of Fame (LBHF) is organizing a Governor’s Belt finale on Boxing Day at Teslim Balogun Stadium, featuring young boxers' skills. The event, attended by notable figures like Wale Edun and David Mohammed, aims to provide a platform for grooming future boxing champions in Nigeria.

LBHF's director, David Mohammed, praised the athletes' consistency and described the monthly tournament as vital for nurturing talent. The event also highlighted recent bouts where fighters like Habeeb Bakar, Daniel Nkem, Aina Adekinwonsa, and others showcased their prowess in various weight categories.

The LBHF plans to introduce a new format in 2026 to further enhance boxing in Lagos.
