On March 22, LeBron James made history by breaking the NBA record for regular-season appearances, playing in his 1,612th game as the Los Angeles Lakers triumphed over the Orlando Magic with a score of 105-104. This victory allowed the Lakers to extend their winning streak to nine games and improved their record to 46-25, solidifying their position in third place in the Western Conference.

James surpassed the previous record of 1,611 games held by Robert Parish since 1997. In this game, James finished with 12 points, six rebounds, and four assists.

Luka Don led the Lakers with 33 points, while Austin Reaves added 26 points. Notably, James received his 16th technical foul of the season, which carries an automatic suspension for the next game against the Detroit Pistons.

This milestone marks James's 23rd season in the league, where he holds records for total points, field goals made, and the longest streak of games with at least 10 points, including playoff games.
