LeBron James Sets NBA All-Time Field Goal Record

On Thursday, LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers broke the NBA all-time field goal record, surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's mark of 15,837 field goals made. This achievement came during a game against the Denver Nuggets, where James scored 16 points.

However, the Lakers lost the match 120-113. James, who is 41 years old and in his 23rd NBA season, has already held the all-time points record since surpassing Abdul-Jabbar in 2023.

In the fourth quarter of the game, James appeared to injure his left elbow and had to leave the court briefly after colliding with a cameraman. He returned for the final two minutes despite showing signs of pain.

The Lakers are currently in a crucial playoff position, sitting in the sixth spot, just behind the Nuggets. Nikola Jokic of the Nuggets recorded a triple-double with 28 points, 13 assists, and 12 rebounds, contributing significantly to the victory.
