Leicester City Relegated to League One After Hull Draw

Leicester City faced relegation to League One following a 2-2 draw against Hull City at the King Power Stadium on April 21. The match confirmed Leicester's second consecutive relegation, a significant decline from their 2016 Premier League title win.

Leicester needed a victory to maintain their survival hopes but fell behind when goalkeeper Asmir Begovic misplayed a pass that allowed Liam Millar to score. Jordan James equalized for Leicester from the penalty spot after a foul by Lewis Kouma on Abdul Fatawu.

Luke Thomas then scored to briefly lift the spirits of the home crowd. However, Hull's Oli McBurnie equalized, silencing the stadium and pushing Leicester closer to relegation.
