Olu of Warri Urges Itsekiri to Transform Challenges

During a thanksgiving service at the Aghofen (palace) in Ajamimogha, Warri South Local Government Area of Delta State, the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, encouraged Itsekiri nationals to convert their challenges into opportunities for growth and advancement. This event marked the conclusion of his 10-day anniversary of his 5th Coronation.

The monarch assured his subjects that the kingdom would overcome its challenges and emerge stronger, urging them to develop a perspective that recognizes opportunities even in difficult circumstances. He prayed for divine guidance in their socioeconomic endeavors and expressed gratitude for the identity and destiny of the Itsekiri people.

Ogiame Atuwatse III attributed the kingdom's progress over the past five years to God's grace and expressed optimism for greater accomplishments in the next five years. Bishop Mike Laju, who delivered a sermon, described the thanksgiving as spiritually significant and urged the community to embrace thanksgiving as a recognition of God's role in their lives.
