Lions District 404B6 Targets N250m for Osogbo Projects

Lions District 404B6 has set a target of N250 million to construct the Osogbo Lions House and establish a food bank, marking it as a flagship project for the 2026-2027 service year. District Governor Lion Oluomo Sundai Aker disclosed this plan during a press conference in Osogbo on Tuesday, marking the commencement of the 2026-2027 Lion service year fundraising drive.

The investiture public presentation is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, 2026. Aker explained that District 404B6 was created following the bifurcation of the former District 404B2, urging members to focus on service leadership and community impact.

He emphasized the importance of membership growth and retention, as well as the support for the Lion Club International Foundation (LCIF). Aker also launched a campaign encouraging members to maintain a formal dress code during Lion activities and called for active participation in district programs, stressing that community service should inspire people to join the organization.
