Liverpool FC Signs Victor Munoz for £34.5 Million

Liverpool FC has successfully signed 22-year-old Spanish forward Victor Munoz from Osasuna for a reported fee of £34.5 million. The deal comes as Liverpool's first signing under manager Andoni Iraola, who replaced the sacked Jürgen Klopp.

Munoz has agreed to a six-year contract with the Premier League club and is currently fulfilling his World Cup duties with Spain. The transfer is subject to a successful work permit application and international clearance.

Last season, Munoz scored seven goals and provided five assists in 36 appearances. He graduated from Barcelona's La Masia youth academy before joining Real Madrid, where he made only two appearances, and later moved to Osasuna in July 2025.

Munoz is expected to help fill the significant gap left by Mohamed Salah's departure during the close season. Liverpool is also interested in other players, including teenager Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig and defender Jeremi Jacquet.
