Lokpobiri's Allies Take Over Bayelsa APC Leadership

In a significant political shift, Heineken Lokpobiri's allies have dominated the Bayelsa State APC executive committee after a state congress held on Tuesday. Hon Warman Weri Ogoriba emerged as the new chairman, while Barr Japan Udoji was elected as the state secretary.

Other key appointments include Hon Ayobegha Jame as deputy chairman, Hon Ebi Waribigha as senatorial zonal vice chairman for the East, and Hon Godbless Akedeowei as senatorial zonal vice chairman for the Central district. The congress also saw the election of Hon Akwakwa B Akwakwa as the senatorial zonal vice chairman for the West, and Rose Itoko Amadi as the woman leader.
