Lookman Excited for UCL Clash Against Barcelona

Ademola Lookman, a forward for Atletico Madrid, stated that facing Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals will be a special occasion. The first leg of the matchup is set for April 8, while the return leg will take place in Madrid on April 14.

Lookman, a prominent Nigerian footballer, has been instrumental for Atletico, recently assisting Julian Alvarez in a match that restored parity against Spurs. Atletico Madrid previously faced Barcelona in the semifinals of the Copa del Rey, where they lost 4-3 on aggregate after winning the home leg 4-0 and losing the away leg 3-0.

Coach Diego Simeone praised Lookman for his contributions, particularly noting his assist that helped Atletico draw level in a recent match. Lookman joined Atletico Madrid during the January winter transfer window from Atalanta.
