Lookman Scores Twice in Atletico Madrid Pre-season Match
Ademola Lookman scored a brace in Atletico Madrid's first pre-season friendly against Getafe, showcasing his potential for a productive season with the club. The Super Eagles forward opened the scoring for Atletico and later doubled the advantage with a well-executed goal.
Lookman, who joined La Liga in January, did not participate in the previous pre-season with Atletico. Reports indicate that coach Diego Simeone intends to deploy him mainly as a second striker in the upcoming season, a shift from his previous roles on the wings.
This strategic positioning could enhance Lookman's impact on the team's offensive play as they prepare for the new season.
