Labour Party Chieftain Sues WAEC, UNN, NYSC for Records
Abayomi Arabambi, a chieftain of the Labour Party, has initiated three separate lawsuits against the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC), the University Of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN), and the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) regarding the academic credentials of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC). Arabambi's lawyer, Anderson Asemota, clarified that the suits do not question the authenticity of Obi's certificates but seek access to existing official records under the Freedom of Information Act. Arabambi claims he has not received responses to his previous requests for information regarding Obi's credentials.
Specifically, he seeks a Certified True Copy of WAEC Certificate No. SC042560 and records related to UNN's Certificate No.
D000198 and NYSC Certificate No. 203495.
