LSM Donates Anti-Financial Crime Books to Schools

Lanre Shittu Motors (LSM) has launched a youth empowerment initiative by donating copies of "Clean Hands, Bright Future: A Youth Guide to Avoiding Financial Crime in Africa" to public secondary schools across Lagos State. This campaign, currently in its first phase, targets 200 schools, with over 150 already receiving the book.

The initiative began at Kuramo Senior College and Victoria Island Senior Secondary School, aiming to educate students about financial crimes such as fraud, cybercrime, and examination malpractice. Author Mr.

Adedayo Aluko stated that the project responds to the rising involvement of youth in financial crimes, emphasizing education as a preventive tool. The book details over 100 forms of financial crime in accessible language and includes plans for interactive sessions and mentorship programs at beneficiary schools.

Mr. Taiwo Shittu, Managing Director of LSM, highlighted the importance of instilling values in young people to combat financial crime and promote responsible citizenship.
