Lanre Shittu Motors Donates Anti-Financial Crime Books

Lanre Shittu Motors (LSM) is donating copies of the book "Clean Hands, Bright Future: A Youth Guide to Avoiding Financial Crime in Africa" to public secondary schools across Lagos State. This initiative is aimed at early value orientation and youth education to combat financial crimes.

The first phase targets 200 schools, with more than 150 already receiving donations. Managing Director Taiwo Shittu stated that the company believes in preventing crime through education rather than punishment.

He emphasized the importance of character development for young people, who face social and economic pressures. The initiative is linked to the legacy of the late Alhaji Rasak Olanrewaju Shittu, focusing on community service.

The book, authored by Adedayo Aluko, explains over 100 forms of financial crimes in simple language and includes plans for follow-up sessions in schools to reinforce the message of integrity and responsible citizenship. The book was published in May 2026 and endorsed by the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.
