Oyo Governor Makinde Appoints New Security Adviser

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has appointed Abayomi Fagbenro as the new Special Adviser on Security. This announcement was made in a letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi.

Fagbenro has a notable background, having worked with the U.S. Army at the Army Network Enterprise Center in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, from October 2007 to August 2012, where he received military training.

He furthered his education at the East Coast Polytechnic Institute and later attended Strayer University, obtaining a degree in Information Systems. Arowosaye Adeyemi, who studied Political Science at the University of Abuja and earned a Bachelor of Science degree, was named the Chairman of the Board of Pacesetter Mining Development Company.

Governor Makinde congratulated both appointees and urged them to treat their new positions as opportunities to serve the people of Oyo State. The appointments are effective immediately.
