Sanwo-Olu Reintroduces Monthly Sanitation in Lagos

On a recent date, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, accompanied by Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, reintroduced a monthly environmental sanitation exercise aimed at improving the cleanliness of the city. This initiative, which takes place in the densely populated Mushin community, seeks to address significant environmental challenges and promote civic responsibility among residents.

Unlike previous practices that mandated movement restrictions during sanitation hours, this new approach emphasizes voluntary participation and community ownership.
