APC Candidate Oden Ewa Accused of Attack and Abduction

A man has accused Hon. Oden Ewa, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Cross River Central Senatorial District, of attacking him and attempting to abduct him. In a video recorded at a hospital, the man alleged that Ewa and his associates attacked him, intending to inject him and take him away.

He claimed that he managed to call his brothers for help, who arrived and rescued him. The man stated that Ewa's associates seized his phones and belongings after his brothers arrived.

He reported hearing one of the men suggest that Ewa should inject him, although he did not know the substance intended for injection. He connected the alleged attack to a previous meeting with Ewa, where he claimed Ewa warned him against criticism.

He vowed not to apologize to Ewa, stating, “I will not apologise to a corrupt politician.” As of the report's filing, Ewa had not responded to the allegations, and the circumstances surrounding the incident could not be independently verified.
