Man Attacks Girlfriend with Acid in Edo State, Victim Battles for Life

In Edo State, a man identified as Timothy Gilbert attacked his girlfriend, Angela Ogah, with acid in Amufi Community, Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area. The victim sustained severe injuries and is battling for her life in an undisclosed hospital.

The suspect fled the community after the attack. Angela's lawyer, John Izegoegb, has submitted a formal petition to the Edo State Commission of Police demanding urgent action and justice.

The Edo State Police Command is yet to provide a detailed briefing on the incident.
