Police Hunt Boyfriend for Acid Attack on Lover in Edo State

The Edo State Police Command is on the hunt for Timothy Gilbert, who allegedly poured acid on his partner, Angela Ogah, during a heated dispute in Benin City's Ihovb Quarter, Ikpoba Hill area. Ogah, aged 40, is receiving treatment at a private medical facility in critical condition.

Lawyer John Izegoegbe has called for swift justice in the case. Police spokesperson Mose Yamu urged individuals in troubled relationships to seek help rather than resorting to violence.

The community has expressed shock over the incident, emphasizing the need to apprehend the suspect swiftly.
