Man Arrested for Allegedly Beating Father to Death

Nsikak Kingslei, aged 38, has been arrested by the Ondo State Police Command for allegedly beating his father, Adon Peter, to death. The incident occurred in Oda Community, Akure South Local Government Area, Ondo State, following an argument between the two on May 28, 2026.

According to a statement from the police, the confrontation escalated into a physical assault, resulting in severe injuries to Adon Peter, particularly to his head. He was rushed to a medical facility for urgent treatment but was unfortunately pronounced dead by medical personnel.

The police acted on a complaint lodged by the suspect's brother at a nearby police station, leading to the suspect's apprehension. This tragic event has generated widespread concern among residents of the area.
