Man Sentenced to Death for Killing Mother in Anambra

Chidubem Anawonwa, a 44-year-old man from Umuokokpa Aborji Village in Idemili South LGA, was sentenced to death by hanging by the Anambra State High Court sitting in Ogidi, Idemili North LGA. He was convicted for the murder of his 74-year-old mother, Theresa Anawonwa, which took place on April 23, 2019.
