Man Shares Twist on Pastor's Prophecy Requesting N100k

On September 4, 2026, Akin Olaoye, a Nigerian man residing in the United States, recounted a significant encounter from 2011 that went viral on X. While picking up a friend near the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) on Aba Road in Port Harcourt, a junior pastor joined them in the vehicle.

Within minutes, the pastor delivered a personalized prophecy stating that Olaoye would become a great man, travel overseas, marry a loving wife, and have two daughters and a son. Following the prophecy, the pastor requested a seed offering of N100,000.

Unbeknownst to the pastor, Olaoye had just withdrawn N1 million from the bank for his return flight to the United States. Instead of confronting the pastor immediately, Olaoye remained calm.

When they reached Rumuola junction, he informed the pastor that he was a Nigerian living in America, already married with two sons and expecting a daughter, contradicting the pastor's prophecy on nearly every point.
