Nigerian Expert Shares Solar Generator Building Tips

He proposed a self-sustaining electricity model accessible to ordinary Nigerians without technical backgrounds.

The video featured a mix of indoor shots of a solar inverter and battery setup, along with a whiteboard explanation. Jacob explained that individuals could purchase solar panels and battery systems, set them up in underserved communities, wire homes, and install prepaid meters to charge residents for their electricity usage.

He emphasized that solar energy is a free resource, contrasting it with the costs associated with traditional electricity generation. Jacob mentioned that his training cost over 200,000 Naira, covering various aspects of solar technology.

He also referenced Nigeria's plan to eliminate electricity subsidies by 2027, urging immediate action. The video received mixed reactions, ranging from enthusiasm to caution.
