Manchester City Signs Allan Elias from Palmeiras for £34M

Manchester City confirmed the signing of 22-year-old Brazilian winger Allan Elias from Palmeiras for £34 million on a five-year contract, marking the club's sixth signing of the summer transfer window. City’s Director of Football, Hugo Viana, stated that Allan is an exciting player who will significantly contribute to the squad.

Reports indicate that the total fee agreed upon is around €40 million ($47 million). Allan, who developed through the academy at Palmeiras and made 96 first-team appearances, expressed his pride in joining Manchester City, calling it the proudest moment of his life.

He acknowledged his love for Palmeiras but stated that the decision to move to City was easy due to the club's success over the past 15 years. Allan aims to follow in the footsteps of successful Brazilian players like Gabriel Jesus, Ederson, and Fernandinho, who have won Premier League titles with Manchester City.
