Mater Amabilis, St. John Vianney Win AMTI Awards

Mater Amabilis Secondary School in Umuoji has been awarded the title of the best public school, while St. John Vianney Science College in Ukwulu has been recognized as the best private school in Anambra State at the AMTI awards.

This event, which is in its fifth edition, will honor the schools with cash prizes donated by an Anambra philanthropist to support the enhancement of their libraries. The awards aim to recognize institutions that have made significant contributions to the development and positive image of Anambra State.

Mater Amabilis has built a reputation for academic excellence, achieving notable successes in national and international competitions, including the Malaysia International Debate Championship and the WAEC Vatebra Merit Award. St.

John Vianney Science College has also established itself as a center of excellence, with students winning national competitions in STEM, entrepreneurship, and mathematics. The AMTI awards serve as a platform to celebrate educational achievements in the state.
