MC Oluomo Claims Only Tinubu Can Remove Him from NURTW

Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, has publicly stated that only Bola Tinubu, the current president, can remove him from his position as the president of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW). This declaration comes amidst accusations from Ibikunle Tajudeen Baruwa's lawyer, Barrister Tolu Babaley, who claims that MC Oluomo is openly flouting a court judgment that ruled his position as illegitimate.

Babaley expressed frustration over the persistent disregard for judicial authority, despite clear rulings recognizing Baruwa as the legitimate NURTW president. He further disclosed that efforts to involve security authorities have yielded no concrete outcomes, alleging that MC Oluomo has ignored official invitations for meetings with the Minister of Labour.

The situation highlights ongoing tensions within the union and raises concerns about the influence of political figures, such as Tinubu, in union leadership matters.
