MEA Energy Launches First Filling Station in Lagos

MEA Energy has inaugurated its first retail filling station located along Itokin Road in Ikorodu, Lagos, marking the company's entry into Nigeria's commercial market. Mr.

Chineny Atanda, Chief Executive Officer of MEA Energy, described the Lagos outlet as a significant milestone in the company's nationwide expansion plan, which aims to establish 250 fuel retail stations and create 3,000 jobs over the next five years. The company intends to bring its services closer to customers and improve the fuel purchasing experience through technology.

The Ikorodu station will operate as a smart filling station, featuring automated digital technology and self-service fuel pumps. MEA Energy's approach to selecting retail locations is data-driven, considering factors such as population density and commercial activity.

The outlet will also include a convenience store offering beverages and everyday essentials, enhancing its retail strategy.
