UNIOSUN's Badiru Aishat Olaitan Graduates with First Class
Badiru Aishat Olaitan, a 20-year-old graduate of the University of Osun (UNIOSUN), has earned a First Class Honours degree in Economics, finishing as the best graduating student in both her department and the entire Faculty of Social Sciences. Aishat shared her achievement on her TikTok page, @aisha_.b, where she reflected on her academic journey.
Notably, she initially began her studies as a science student before switching to Economics, driven by a passion for the subject rather than academic struggles. Her early exposure to Economics in secondary school sparked her interest, leading to a remarkable CGPA of 4.66 out of 5.0.
During her graduation ceremony, she received two awards: Best Graduating Student in the Department of Economics and Best Graduating Student in the Faculty of Social Sciences. Aishat expressed gratitude to her friends for their support and indicated her ambitions extend beyond her degree, as she is currently pursuing qualifications to become a Chartered Accountant.
