Nigerian Students Shine at STEM Olympiad in Rome

Onwubiko Chimduebub Victor, Egejurum Onyedikachi Ethan, and Don Anel Munachimso Marvel are three Nigerian students from the Southeast region who have qualified to represent Nigeria at the STEM Olympiad in Rome. They distinguished themselves among 11,500 participants in the Southeast STEM Mathematics Olympiad, showcasing exceptional talent and performance.

Victor, aged 13, emerged as the champion in the junior category, while Ethan, an 11-year-old, was recognized as the grand champion in the primary category. Marvel, aged 17, aims to become a medical doctor and has also excelled in chemistry and mathematics.

Their achievements highlight the growing pool of young talent in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in Nigeria. The organization requires an estimated 32,200 Naira to cover flight, accommodation, registration, and logistics for the students to participate in the global competition.

Their success serves as an inspiration for young learners aspiring to excel in STEM-related fields.
