Falana Criticizes Nigerian Military Over Alleged Coup Plot Against Tinubu

Human rights lawyer Falana has criticized the Nigerian military for its handling of an alleged coup plot against politician Tinubu. Falana faulted the military for lack of transparency and misleading the public.

The military initially denied the coup plot reports but later announced the arraignment of 16 officers before a military judicial panel. Falana urged the military to ensure the rights of the accused officers are protected and to follow due process.

He emphasized the need for transparency and accountability in the handling of the case.
